I am pretty open-minded about culture. Gay culture does not count, but that's another thread. I understand that in Europe, you are too poor to have more than one sport. Football (we call it Soccer...when you go to the sporting goods store, you purchase a SOCCER BALL to play soccer, not a football to play soccer, right? It's soccer, really. ) is really the only sport you can obsess over. That's cool.

I can indentify with third world poverty and such...it's OK.

We don't really care too much about soccer...it's a sport from "the other side of the world." Some college age folk seem to get bent out of shape over it (yelling "go weasels!" is a good example) but the majority of us find little interest in it.

Ahh...didn't mean to go off...I type faster than I think, which is pretty scary. If you like your weasels than good for you!!! In American culture, being called a "weasel" is not exactly a becoming personality trait. But hey, if you like it...

That's funny, pretty much the only TV I watch is the news... and a little bit of Cold Case Files on A&E. Never heard this "axis of weasels" business but I sure wouldn't have agreed with it if I had. Thanks for clearing that up though. I'd say the people with the "dumb american complex" are the people who actually LISTEN to the news media when they tell us France and Germany are bad.

And sward666 - I could have easily googled it, I was just giving freegeeks a hard time.
