The Aviator

I saw it today...it was a little long, but interesting. I think it could be nominated for some oscars...It will most likely compete against Ray.

SPOILER
At the end, the movie should've told you what ends up happening to Howard Hughes (what he did during the rest of his life) instead of just cutting to the credits
END SPOILER

I don't really want to see a man with no personal hygiene that is addicted to pain killers to end a movie.

Another DiCaprio movie which isn't called TIRANIC

I thought the movie was good...

**SPOILERS SPOILERS**

Him with the OCD was kinda wierd, he did some very odd things we "he was down". My sister has a very short attention span, thought the movie was too long and think a movie should be about "an hour", she walked out of LOTR Return of the king...

There were also a lot of ackward scenes in the beginning of the movie which make sense later but....

**SPOLIERS SPOILERS**

I just saw The Aviator tonight. I have to say it was a great film.

As an aviation freak, seeing the Hercules (albeit a computer animation) take off was very breathtaking.

Cate Blanchett cannot pull off katharine hepburn, it was way cheesy. hepburn looks and sounds more like a cocky version of atharine janeway...the startrek captain chick....

rest of the film was sorta bleh too.

i didn't read the spoiler, and i haven't seen the movie yet either... mmm.... guess i shall. history movies are interesting.

It was Katherine Hepburn, not Audrey, and I thought her performance was a little over-the-top.

you mean katharine hepburn. have u seen any of her movies? i thought she was very poorly cast...

i really liked the film, only after thinking about it more.

SPOILERS

When watching, I liked how they jumped right in to the Hells Angels sequence. Wasn't too fond of the old age of Hollywood, since I didn't live in that era. I really liked his descent into dementia, however only after the movie did I know he had OCD, which made everything make more sense.

well, the spruce goose was kinda cool though...do wonder if the wings woulda torn off if it had actually flew to a decent height though. i saw it in la before it got moved🙂

If we wanted to watch a crazy person for 3 hours, all we had to do was invite over the inlaws.

That said I thought Kate Winslit did a terrific job as whats-her-face.
