2) Retirement
At least 15% in 401k and another 10% in other investments - No. Most save in 401(k) what their companies match, which is 3 to 5% and save 5 to 10% elsewhere.
3) Credit Score
At least 750 - No, I say 640 to 730 is the bulk of the range.
4) Live paycheck to paycheck? I would say 50% or more live paycheck to paycheck.
5) No, at least 6 months of disposable income saved at any time - That is the advice they give others (3 to 6 months emergency fund), but maybe only 10% have it.
1: Nope, but I'll hit 100k when I'm 25 or a bit after. Should be before I'm 26. No big deal, everyone gets about that for what we do. If I was in my last line of job I wouldn't have a hope in hell of making 100k this early on, and probably never...I got very lucky getting my job.
2: No retirement but I invest and save £££.
3: Not sure on Credit Score as I'm in England. Should be alright.
4: Nope
5: I had about 18months salary saved up. I don't spend much £££ and living at home currently. Just bought my own place so I have only a few k's left.
My hobbies are cheap and I also work a part time job and take time off work to work a summer camp job (p!ss poor pay, but it is fun and I save because I'm not spending a few k's on holiday but earning a little).
I spend very little and I live at home currently. I spend all of my time training 8-10 sessions a week 15-18hrs every week. I work 40-45-48hrs a week including my part time job.
