The Audition: Is it scary?

Creepy/spooky movies like The Ring scare the bejeezus outta me. I'm watching 'The Audition' and almost freaked out during the scene where the protagonist Aoyama first telephones the girl. WTF was in the bag?! :Q Is the rest of the movie gonna be scarier?

audition? if i remember correctly, it's more f'ed up disgusting/disturbing than scary.

The Audition? Never heard of it. Anyone want to fill me in?

Japanese horror film, directed by the same guy that did the Ju On films (The Grudge in the USA).

The scene at the end is quite possibly one of the most gruesome scenes ever
Gore is OK. I can handle that 😀

OK, I'm gonna finish the movie--Don't wanna run into spoilers.

edit:
Done! Nothing I couldn't handle 😀 Only one or two more scares, although the scenes involving the child were really disturbing. I don't think American cinema would even come close to depicting that.

Deeper, deeper, deeper . . .

hah, have fun.
/me waits for Mermaidman to run back into this thread like a little girl. 🙂
