This is actually a glorified re-mix of a track by Opus III called "Fine Night Tonight (w/ Kirsty Hawkshaw on vocals) which itself was a cover of a 1983 single by Jane & Barton. It's a Fine Day was an early 90s club favorite & went #1 on UK charts. Opus III also released "I Talk To The Wind", which I also like quite a bit, as the 2nd single from Mind Fruit.

BTW - Although Kirsty looks kinda weird in that video, she's actually very attractive.

What about someone more mainstream like Sunscreem?

Or AB Logic? Front 242? 808 State? Quadrophonia? Older Prodigy songs (before they got big)?

Rare stuff? Acen's Trip to the Moon III, LA Style's James Brown is Dead, Smart E'sSesame's Treat, Sonz of a Loop de Loop Era Far Out, Gruseome Twosome (which I cannot find on the internet but actually have an MP3 of), and Human Resource's Dominator... just to name a few.

There was a group that did a song with a sample of the Bond theme, and I cant remember the track, but I always liked it. And someone did a cool version of one of Beethoven's symphonies.

More recent stuff - Chemical Bros Busy Child & The Test. I absolutely love the Richard Ashcroft vocal on the Test. That's one of my favorite techno songs.

This thread brings back so many memories of clubbing years ago.
It's funny how now i'd consider most of the songs i am linking to cheesy techno/trance, but cheesy or not, it's still damn enjoyable music :)

What would Jean-Michel Jarre be considered? He is definitively a pioneer in electronic music... but it's definitively not electronic DANCE music... umm?

Plus I saw Interstella 5555... Now I'm more addicted :).

Ditto, best and longest music video ever! I love the art direction (being a Captain Harlock fan myself) and the way the music blends in. Interstella definitively made me revisit some of the songs from the album I had little interest in before.

The Daft Punk fans need to check them live. Daft Punk at the 2006 Coachella Festival was the ultimate live experience.

Daft Punk @ Coachella Intro (Human After All, Robot Rock!)
