Inspired, or rather driven, by the other poll thread. Except I want a bit more accurate results. Rather than you all attempting to figure out where you lie on the linear and boring left/right scale, let's find out where your political philosophies reside on the two axes of the Political Compass.

http://www.politicalcompass.org/

Go there, take the test, and submit your results to the poll. This will far more accurately gauge where the sum whole of P&N falls on the graph of politcal ideologies.

Have fun, and of course, be honest. It's no fun if the results are skewed.

Also, follow up with your score in a post, if you want to. It'll be interesting to know where some of our compatriots lie.

I found it interesting that their grid had John Edwards as the most conservative democrat in the primaries!

Yeah, I found that interesting as well. There's no telling how accurate that truly is though, as their methodology could be a bit open to interpretation. Even if the margin of error is 20% though, it's fairly telling. Just goes to show you how much the Republicans and Democrats really are, for the most part.

This is some interesting results. Are people who would normally vote republican not taking the test or something? There's almost no one representing the right end of the Economic scale.

I'm hangin out with the Dalai Lama

Some of those questions on the first page aren't very good ones for this test though..

If I took it again I would probably get different scores every time I took it.

I've taken the test about 5 times in the past year, about 2 or 3 months apart usually. Always yielded results within a half a point.

I have trouble with the wording on a few questions every time I take this test... Still, me and Ghandi and The Dalai Lama are chillin' out down here...
