Someone who actually votes for Trump on November 8 is beyond convincing.

My in-laws are for Trump because of the Supreme Court. As long as a candidate would appoint a judge to overturn Roe v. Wade there is nothing a Republican candidate could do or say that would convince them to not vote for him.

Let me guess . . . they're "pro-life" but for the death penalty.

Is similar to a lot of people worried about 2nd Amendment rights, the only Amendment that was every changed in two years or less was Prohibition I believe.

Changes to the Constitution have to be ratified by a vote in all States legislatures over time to even to attempt to change one, was always my understanding.

Repealing one is a lot different than modifying one.

Sometimes it's simply a matter of fact that certain things are good or certain things bad, and there may be many reasons for this. A considerable point of such forums is to argue the case either way to judge which might be more convincing. You present yourself here as something of a learner; but how is it that someone of the sort has never learned this?
