Then we can let this one continue without reseting. :)

On that note, I will proudly announce that we one shot Kaz'rogal last night on our first attempt. :)

He was a push over. I burned through two mana pots, one innervate, and still blew up at the very end but whatever hehe. I think next time I am going to create a macro which switches me from tree to bear form and then link that button to my mouse for some quicker reactions. That should save me more mana for the fight.

Azgalor is next. Tips and tricks?

all your ranged other then SPs need to stand in 1 group literally directly on top of each other at absoult emax range, mele is less desired for this fight unless they have FR, SPs because of range issues are also less usefull, healers also need to stand at max healing range but not close to the DPS ranged group

save SS and Brezes untill someone gets marked and then you can SS them or wait to brez, its important you dont SS anyone before the pull so you can save them for those that need them as the dooms happen, we have the doomed person run all the way over to thrall and spawn the doomlord there, normally have a tank + mele or 2 there to help, but thrall and his buddies can pretty much solo them, we tank Azgalor by the tauren warriors

SR helps you resist the scilence, BT Neck + shadow prot is normally fine if you have a SR cloak i woudl wear that

GL on the trash, the 6 nethermancer pull is fun, i recomend banishing a fellhunter from the previous wave to keep the NPCs in combat for it, if you have the Tauren warriors up there they will run at the nethermancers and chain warstomp them, whick keeps them from instabolting people to death

use a bear to tank because of better mitigation

I am confused as to why you bunch up. Isn't that a problem due to rain of fire? Or is it that rain of fire is out of range if you stay as far away as possible?

you outrange the rain of fire, easier to manage if everyone stays together less chance of someone fing it up

less likely to have mele DPS drag the fire to them, it happens sometimes, theres also a place where they can stand by the tauren warrior huts where the will never get fired, we have ranged stand at a diff place because its easy to SS someone as they run by

It probably will be another month. Last major patch (the ZA patch) didn't come out until 1 month after the Blizzard pre-downloads were opened.

The main thing I'm looking forward in 2.4 is the arena matching system. NO MORE 2.4k players constantly re-creating teams/joining new teams and just farming <2000 teams to be 100-0.

I hate the be the bringer of bad news, but Blizz has already stated that all known bugs will be fixed post release at this point. Being that is the case, I believe the release to be next week unless something goes unexpectedly.

I haven't kept up with the bug reports so I don't really know where everything stands. Is it pretty bad beyond the Sunwell raid? Personally, I prefer to be patient for a solid product but if they are going to release it anyways I really hope they at least made the world and 5 man content pretty solid.

This is purely speculative, but part me wonders if the reason behind the quick release is because there is a lot of pressure to free up some human resources to work on WotLK.

there were issues everwhere, 5 mans normal world stuff and the 25 man raid, they also have hardly done any testing on the new AV and such which is why the tournamant realm is up but no one wants to do them so they arnt being tested. + the tourny realm is down again lol sadface

How bad are they though? I mean, one could say that there are issues everywhere right now and they would be correct. Are they real show stoppers or just small inconveniences which you will see every now and then?

:(

That sounds worse than usual for Blizz. I hope they are not slacking in their standards for this one.

I hope so, but i did hear that this will be the final "new content" patch before wotlk. so they could still pull people off.

I did all of the dailies in and around the island along with some of the new fishing dailies and for three or four days and none were bugged, so I'm not sure what bugs you are talking about.

They still need to tune the 25 man raid, but I also ran the 5 man normal about 4 times and heroic 3 times and it was fine, so I don't think the patch isn't ready or anything.

Hey raiders,

My guild finally beat Vashj and Kael, as it was our motivation to do so before the free T6 attunements in 2.4.

With that said, how should we approach Hyjal/BT in regards to our raid schedule? We raid 3 nights a week for 3 hours a night. I'm thinking:

week 1: Hyjal/Hyjal/Hyjal
week 2: BT/BT/BT

repeat.

That way we get to experience both instances, and it gives us 3-day stretches at a time to learn from the previous nights' progress. Can we spend equal time in both, or should we try to farm Hyjal first?

looking forwards to the response on this one.

Once we down Kael and Vashj the 1st time, how much longer should we spend in SSC/TK before venturing forth into hyjal / BT? or do you continue to do TK/SCC for gear while trying Hyjal and BT?

From what I've seen, most guilds at that point are geared enough from all the weeks of Kael/Vashj attempts that they don't really need to run tier 5 content anymore. Not to mention, most people are horribly sick of SSC at this point. The primary reason that these guilds end up going back is just to get more people attuned for Hyjal.

so im guessing you can't down these bosses in the 1st week of attempts like the rest of the TK/SSC bosses?
