I kind of doubt it, just good and put themselves in good positions. Seems the ATOT server does attract some pretty decent players at times.

Yes the browser is shitty but it can work. Yes EA has to get its shit together with the login servers, but it does work unstable as it is.

Nah, I'll stick to BC2...After 500 hours playing BF2 over the past 5 years, I've finally moved onto something new!

You don't see what the big deal is. Wow, your ignorance really knows no bounds. Of course it's not a problem to you, since you can't see such a major flaw with your rose tinted glasses. MW2 is the biggest piece of garbage to be released in a long time, and the PC port is even worse. Good job spending $50 on BC2 though, I'm sure EA appreciates it, especially after all the crap you spew about BF2.

how is it ignorance? I have no problem playing mw2 with the matchmaking system. it works fine most of the time. It's not completely without problems, but name a game that is. It certainly works much better than BC2 does right now. You can't ignore the fact that BC2 has a shitload of problems atm.

besides the matchmaking system, its pretty much exactly like MW1 which everyone loved.

I bought BC2 because people said it was good and different enough from BF2. It's not my fault that they lied. There is no PC demo to try it out first.

Just because you have some fanboyish attachment to the BF series doesn't make you any better.

Run the game as admin. Stop the update of the list. Check all of the filters and/or choose a game type. Works like in 30 secs for me.

BF1943 is more like BC2 set in WWII. bf heroes is like a 3rd person kiddy version of the BF game.

There is a text box over the server filters for filtering on Server Name, try putting "aus", "Sydney", or "Perth" in there then clicking search. I got nothing for "NZ" or "Zeal".

I am rank 13 and I don't have body armor or magnum ammo. It tells me that I need battlefield veteran whatever to get the body armor and 12 gauge shotgun and for the magnum ammo it tell me that I require a higher rank even though it says you need rank 13. Looks like i'm bugged and will never be able to get those 3 things? (and probably the other specializations that come after...)

Lot's of people complaining about not getting those unlocks at Rank 13. But many have eventually go it. EvilGrin's weapon unlock spreadsheet says body armor arrives at rank 14, and magnum ammo at 15. (Click Rank Unlocks link at bottom). Not a definitive source, but there is hope.

Okay it's just that when you go in game to the specializations sheet it tells you that you get them at rank 12 and 13 so I thought that was really weird. I did get the automatic pistol without it telling me I had unlocked it though... Lots of weird things going on in this game...

Here's what I did. Right click, properties, compatibility on both the bfbc2.exe and steam.exe and where it says privilege level run always as admin.

Right after that, guess what? I pull out my revolver (it's a 1 hit kill in the head) and I shoot this guy point blank in the head too, GUESS WHAT THOUGH? YEAH, HE KNIFES ME BUT HERE IS THE KICKER(EVEN THOUGH I HEAR THE TING FOR THAT TOO):

Knife kills are super easy. I already have 3 gold star knife and only lvl 17. It's too easy to get knife kills in this game.

Yeah, I think when you hear the TING, that means it hit his helmet, and saved him. If you would have hit him in the fleshy parts it would sound different.

A TING and a miss...strike out for you!

I like this game but I really think killstreaks would add alot to the entertainment value of the matches. Killstreaks were the coolest part of MW2 and could work in this game too.

1) Call in missle strikes from the ships offshore. Kind of like mortrs only larger AE field and does more damage.

2) Call in airstrikes. Both precision for small targets and carpet bombings for larger ones.

3) Sattelite spot. a sattelite spots all enemies on the map.

and class killstreaks!

4) 30 second invulnerbility mode and spread 40mm grenade for assault class

5) Tactical mini nuke and Instant Repair for Engineer

6) AE Rez and Painkiller Beserker mode +50% outgoing and -50% incoming damage for medic.

7) Ultra zoom x48 and Slow down Time mode for Recon

Any many more could be added im sure.

Community Go ahead and post what killstreaks you guys would like to see added to BC2.

Killstreaks are the reason why MW1/2 was and is a campfest. It'll also make for zero teamwork.
