If you're thinking about ordering one, go for it. It's light and small enough to actually be a laptop without being a huge DTR like the Dell 9300's are (which was one of the other notebooks I was considering purchasing) but the Z71v also packs enough power to game. I can play all my games with some decent settings...IE Doom 3, HL2, EQ2, KOTOR 1&2, BF 1942 and Farcry.
My main reason why I did go with this instead of the 9300 is that because this would be used for school, and I would be dragging it to classes, so I needed something that had a decent battery life to it as well. It has the ability to equip 2 batteries, I only have one atm, and I get a little less then 3 and a half hours on it. Which isn't bad at all for a notebook that has a 6600 GPU.
Cliff Notes:
-Small enough and light enough to be hauled around
-GPU is more then enough power to play all the latest games
-Cook1 is happy 😀
