The Aristocrats

This movie was advertised as funny. Honestly, the crudeness of it gets old after the first five minutes, absolute filth in my mind, and usually I am very open minded about alot of things.

You mean the thing Cartman was talking about is a real live-action movie? Or are you talking about the one where people just reiterate what cartman says?

drew carrey was pretty decent on there...other than that i thought it got boring... OK WE GET IT! the joke is dirty and you add your own spin to it....enough already.

It's coming tomorrow via netflix for me.

Rock on, netflix FTW.

I took a 2-month hiatus because my list was getting a little weak and I wanted to shift my focus a bit, but I just reinstated it last night...I've got at least a couple months worth of DVDs I want to see now.

IMO the movie really isn't about the joke, so much as the comedic process. It reminded me very much of Comedian in that respect. I didn't think The Aristocrats was especially funny, but I thought it was interesting and worthwhile. Comedian is definitely better, though, and treads largely similar ground.

Wow.

What did you expect? It's an hour and a half long documentary about a single dirty joke. Did you expect something more than an hour and a half of crudeness and repetitiveness? Did you rent this movie expecting something more than exactly what it was? Of course it was dirty and of course it was the same thing over and over again.

Totally mind boggling that you thought it was going to be anything more than that.

You can't tell me the mime acting out the joke wasn't hilarious. It still makes me laugh just thinking about it.

Also, the female comedian talking about the Christmas gift Bob Saget got her was awesome.

**LMAO** The first thing I thought of when I saw the title was "AristoCats"

Everybody wants to be a cat,
'cause the cat's the only cat who knows where it's at
Everybody's pickin' up on that feline beat
'cause everything else is obsolete!
