The apparent latest PayPal scam

Someone's latest scam, kind of pathetic... they ask for your bank account pin number in the form... yeah, right:

This e-mail is the notification of recent innovations taken by PayPal to detect inactive customers and non-functioning mailboxes.

The inactive customers are subject to restriction and removal in the next 3 months.


Please confirm your email address and credit card information by logging in to your PayPal account using the form below:
 
if someone falls for that, they shouldnt have a paypal account, let alone credit card, in the first place

the thing is they aren't targeting the technical saavy like us, they are targeting Grandma Smith, who thought it would be nice to paypal their grandkids some birthday money.

Thank you for posting the warning about information we would NOT ask for in an email. In addition, all email correspondence from PayPal would reflect your first and last name.
