"The answer" feature doesn't work

Case and point? 😕

In the beta forums the OP had the ability to both mark and unmark the "answer" to a thread. I thought this was a great idea but apparantly they think it will lead to moderation issues here. 🙁
 
I think the problem occurs when the mods mark the answer in the thread. The reason I say this is because I started a thread in FI just the other day. When Jason posted in it, I assume he marked his post as the answer. The next time I posted in that thread my last post was marked as the answer. Seems like a bug to me.

I hadn't seen it before. Sorry about jumping to the conclusion that you were wrong.
