The annoying autocomplete list....

Does anyone know how to get rid of the autocomplete list that appear everytime you try typing something in win2000? (like in search, if I type t, then there will be a list of file names starting with t that I searched before...)

It gets annoying sometimes that it actually keeps all these names... how do you get rid of these?

To disable autocomplete in IE, go to the Tools menu, click Internet Options. On the Content tab, click AutoComplete, and deselect the choices.

How about the ones in search file/program ?? are those affected by the autocomplete too?

I just deselected it in IE - seems like it's disabled in the search feature as well.
