The ancient Blade runner point'n'click adventure - does it still work?

I once had this on cd, but seem to have lost it somewhere along the way (never got very far with it). Was thinking of trying it again, but not only have I mislaid my original but I get the impression it's a pain to get it to run on current machines anyway, so am thinking of buying it again, digitally.

I notice there are lots of complaints about the "enhanced" version, but on Steam reviews seem to say the problems have been fixed via patches. GoG have that version for less that Steam currently ask, but does the GoG version actually work? Anyone know?

Blade Runner enhanced on GOG includes the original which runs fine on ScummVM. Enhanced is also cheaper than original right now. Since you get both games for the price, it's a no-brainer.

Rise of the Dragon was a LOT of fun on the SEGACD.

Edit: As was Snatcher, by Konami (same guy did Metal Gear series). Make sure to buy the Konami Justifier light-gun, it makes all the difference!

(All my old disk-based games, some of which had been sitting around for over a decade, some of which I'd never actually got round to playing, seem to have disappeared, dammit - at least games tend to go _down_ in price over time, rather than up, like out-of-print books, deleted records and cds).
