The American who died in the earthquake in Iran

I just found out I knew the guy.

I do business with his company. I must have spoken with him just 2 weeks ago. Seemed like a nice guy too.

That earthquake was horrific. My condolences, I guess.

That sucks. But why would anyone "vacation" in Iran? Death by Volcanic Eruption in Hawaii or Earthquake in Cancun, not so bad. But Iran, hell no. That's like being crushed between two short school buses. Nobody wants to die in that situation.

They had gone to the Iranian city of Bam to visit a 2,000-year-old citadel.

Im sure the city would have been very cool to visit before the quake hit. It's not an "evil" place as is made out by the US media.
