Half way through the season and it's been pretty interesting so far. I just wish the 2 blondes and the non married couple would get eliminated already. I find them way too annoying.

Do you guys think they're just helping the Alabama and Kentucky team along so that if they can take advantage of them if they all happen to be the last teams? They are the stronger team among this group and could probably take them out pretty easy. Then on the other hand they do seem genuinely nice and supportive. So far they haven't been overly competitive against the remaining teams.

i think they are real
it might have a side benefit, but it probably won't

the weaker teams will still come in later even with help

This season has dissapointed me. The Cho brither while being nice are playing a very strange race, and I doubt they will be able to pull it off. And everyone else is a jerk, so I have no one to really cheer for this year.

The only things that could get me interested in TAR:

1) Any team that whines "This is too hard, I give up!" is instantly eliminated.
2) Get rid of all the bottlenecks at airports, train stations and the gates of attractions that are only open for 4 hours a day. Teams that build leads should be able to take advantage of those leads, not have them yanked away by producers who want the trailing teams to catch up every leg.
3) No more "take a cab to...". Too much of a luck factor, whoever gets the best cabbie wins and whoever gets a stupid one is doomed. Force all teams to navigate themselves at all times. That way when they get lost it's their own damn fault.

the bottlenecks are there on purpose, otherwise the good teams would leave the crappy teams in the dust

#3 wouldn't be too bad, but they would have to avoid certain cities or be really creative in the transportation type

1. Agree
2. Somewhat agree but I think this makes it more interesting as anything can happen. If a team gets a 1 or 2 hour lead they'll most likely lead throughout the whole leg of the race.
3. Agree. I also think they should be prohibited from asking someone to come along with them for directions.

yeah, the "hey come ride with us 45 miles and show us" thing is getting old

it bit that one team in vietnam, when they had that lady ride with them from the airport and she took them 30 minutes out of the way

Exactly my point. There's nothing to differentiate between the good teams and the crappy teams. They're artificially forced into a tie and then a short segment produces the winner and loser. Would you watch football if the first three and a half quarters were meaningless? Somebody could build up a 35-0 lead and then the refs march onto the field "Okay, tie game, next score wins..." That wouldn't be much of a game and neither is TAR.

i  the Cho brothers, a couple of genuinely nice guys and wow! are they built. :)

i've been meaning to say how great I think these guys are...for two reasons: 1) doing a "moment in silence" at the Hoa Lo Prison in Hanoi, Vietnam where Senator John McCain was once a POW, 2) intentionally becoming last place so Dave & Mary can do the Fast Forward task (in Kuwait). these guys totally rock!

Yep, big  for the brothers on that. Seems they're one of the few teams that's actually taking their time to enjoy the whole thing instead of always trying to be the first at each pitstop.

I've been watching more for the great videography of the locals than the people this season. Really got into the Spring Season (9) where you had the jocks vs the hippies, now it seems that theres no dominant team...always a different team each time.

i'm in a pool on this show. i've got the cho brothers and my picked choice and the ugly crackhead male models as my random draw. both still in, so not bad.

next week's episode looks good, with the beauty queens having to team up with either the chos, alabama, or kentucky.

1) Haha... but no, I have to disagree. They would all be out by now. Seeing the reactions and interactions of the people is the whole pointy of 'reality' shows.

2) Agreed. I hate those damn bottle necks. I'm not sure much can be done about airports/trains/etc..., but the actual events where they have to wait for the the place to open is lame. A good team should be able to build a lead.

3) I can sort of agree with this one, but it doesn't really bother me too much.

I do disgree with jtvang125's opinion that they shouldn't be able to get local help. That's just making good use of local resources.

for some reason, Cho brothers deserved to go home today...

only guys left to root for are the gay male models team because they seem like the least evil out of all the teams left and they proved that they can take the top spot once again today.

hate the blondes but they will probably be in the final race with the male models just based on their competitiveness.

I find it funny that all this time the Cho brothers tried to help out 'bama only to find out their true nature today. this is why they deserve to go because they are too naive.
