This year looks pretty awesome, there are a lot of people I'd love to see speak. Anyone ever gone in years past? How was it?

I'm looking into going. Seems like it would cost about $1200 if I can't find someone to share a hotel room with(flight from newark + hotel + event ticket).

I'm going to search for any previous threads. But anyone planning on going/gone before?

I browsed through the summary and the list of workshops and speakers, and it does look interesting.

Im a bit skeptical though.

A friend of mine goes to the London event every year. He runs the 1023 campaign against homeopathy here in the UK.

Sounds interesting - never heard of it, thanks for bringing this to my attention. No, not going. Be sure to post a report if you do go.

I have been a fan of James Randi for decades (ever since seeing his debunking of James Hydrick when i was a wee youngster back in the late 70s/early 80s). I frequent the JREF website and forums but have never been to an Amazing Meeting.

I would *LOVE* to go, but living in Upstate NY the travel expenses have been an obstacle I have not been able to overcome.
