I was reading this over on Giz and it was amazing.
At the Beijing Olympics, there were thousands of photographers all looking to get iconic shots of the games. For some events, that meant arriving many, many hours early and setting up elaborate remote camera setups. For the men's 100m dash, there were close to 100 remote cameras set up, all focused on the same thing: the finish line. Photographer Vincent Laforet was there, and he made this amazing video showing the sheer insanity of hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of camera equipment all working to capture one single moment, along with examples of some of the better results.

That's what I'd use for em - PW's to trigger.

Actually, it would be funny to just take a transmitter and screw with people who didn't get custom channels lol.

Why do people say "hundreds of thousands of dollars of photography equipment?" Any given parking lot also has "hundreds of thousands of dollars worth" of cars.

I just don't see what's impressive about that.

Edit: I don't get what's impressive about the monetary value, but it's still cool to see all of those camera being operated remotely.

Well for me I see hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of cars all the time... but I've never seen cameras set up like that before. Very cool.

Think of all the money that could have been saved if they had held the Olympics inside the LHC.
