I'll try to phrase this correctly, bear with me.

Yes, the flash is funny but does anyone see a danger in turning the people behind the worst terrorist act in the U.S. into cartoon characters? Those people are dangerous and they are still out there. If we start to think of them as some sort of comic villian will we still maintain the will to fight them?

During WWII the Japanese and Germans were both portrayed in cartoons and parodied in movies. We kicked both of their asses.

Maybe you're too wound up. This is a serious time we are in, which calls for some humor to temper the stress.
