What do you base that on, your "experience"? My AIW cards have worked for years and ATI has excellent warranties on their cards. ATI also makes all AIW cards and are the flagship of their line, I would expect them to last as long as you want it installed in your rig.
Sure man Of course Ive got experience with the ATI TV Wonders, Im kicking myself in the pants, as to why I did not get the USB version of the TV wonder. Hassle free and same performace. My TV Wonder died on me, my friend he ordered one and it died on him in 3 months (his was a smaller PCB and came with a video dongle.) I'm sure your 7500 AIW wont die out on you, surely because it has a crippled core, and slower ram than my Radeon LE. (Which I must say is extremely overclockable)
Remember I had a total different configuration than you, from what I can tell you have only a Sound card with your Graphics card.
While I had TnT2/FireWire Card/Adaptec 19160 SCSI card/Conexant-Riptide Combo Card/TV Wonder/Network card. As you can see I had a boatload of stuff.
My Advice then, if your going to have LOTS of stuff in your PCI buses, don't get an AIW, get a 9000 Pro 128 or above with external USB TV Wonder.
If your going to have only a sound card in a PCI slot, while the rest is empty, by all means go and get an AIW.
