You guys lack intelligence, eh? An acronym has to form a pronouncable word, such as RADAR, SONAR, SCUBA, etc. WTF, YGPM, etc, are NOT acronyms.


edit: I'm wrong. That's what it originally meant, probably "acronym" became synonymous for "initialism" after much misuse. Hence, how "irregardless" is now a word.
