Sometimes turning on the radio is the only thing to do to escape the tv play-by-play announcers. I've watched many a game on TV with the mute on while listening to the radio play-by-play which is typically a lot better IMO.

i did that alot during lakers games to hear chick hearn's play by play instead of tnt's or tbs or ...etc..

well, whenever it was a home game basically and fsn would do a blackout on the game since some other national TV would cover the game.
