I will never understand the point of laptops like this. Buy a SFF gaming PC and a nice laptop for way less money. They'll run faster and have usable battery life.

The more I see of it the more impressive it seems. Wonder if it could fit on a Pull-Down tray in an aircraft and would it support the weight? Also how long does the battery last. More power than any computer I will over own.

Battery life is a disappointment with the 21 X, even compared to the lowered expectations for gaming laptops. The Predator lasted just an hour and 51 minutes on the Verge Battery Test, which cycles a series of web pages through Google Chrome. Unplugging it for gaming resulted in even poorer results that brought the time to under an hour (exactly how much depends on how hard you’re pushing it) along with a hit to performance to boot. Hypothetically, you can use the Predator unplugged for a few minutes, but it was clearly designed to remain attached to the nearest wall.

LOL.

I use to have custom made bags for my Amiga 2000/toaster and monitor, I see it as the same thing :p

If you have to keep it tethered to a wall outlet why not build a tower and beat the performance easily?

Well, a laptop is meant for portability. If someone travels often enough and wants a competent gaming machine, this is an option. Although, at that rate, an external GPU with a "normal" laptop is probably a better, cheaper and faster option... and it's still pretty portable. It'll also use two power cords, so no change there!

It doesn't even have HDR though. What an obsolete, washed out, flat image looking POS. For 9 grand, I want to smell Laura Croft's farts and stub my toe in BF1 multiplayer, so HDR is at least fully expected as a baseline.

It's great for someone looking to say they spent top dollar on something terrible.

I wouldn't consider it very "portable" either, considering I have SFF machines that are lighter. 1.5hr battery is just hilarious; it will only get worse over time. Manufacturer should supply a lifetime of replacement batteries at that rate. I also imagine the thing gets extremely hot and can't actually be placed on your lap whilst gaming.

I should had noted that there are only so many of these laptops for sale. It's more of a collectors item than anything else.
