The 99 cent iPhone game "raid leader" is better than dragon age

For combat, "raid leader" is superior to dragon age. It is simplified and moves at a slightly faster pace. The battles are actually somewhat meaningful unlike the endless battles with trash mobs you face in dragon age. There is no annoying stopping to loot after every battle.

That kind of looks like the game Battleheart! which is a decent game, but I think falters a bit in the control area. It's way too easy to get one of your players close to another, and then selecting them becomes like playing the game Operation! *BZZT*

Made by the same people that made Battleheart.

EDIT: correction, made by the same people who made PocketRPG.

Looks good, but I sometimes find that "serious" gaming on my phone feels a little awkward. My kingdom for an analog stick!

i bought this over the weekend and played through about 6 of the boss fights. i think i'm in love. so far, it's well worth the dollar and 6 cents i paid for it! the controls are intuitive, yet basic. having an analog stick is certainly not needed, although i do agree that many mobile games i've played seem incomplete without an analog stick. if you're looking for something to kill time and enjoy boss encounters similar to those offered in many RPGs or MMOs, then i think you'll enjoy raid leader.
