I know one show that won't be in the running for next year's awards...

Did 24 win anything?

Sutherland didn't win. William Shatner did, though.

But it was the same-old liberal drivel. John Stewart came out and poked at GWB, as to be expected.

William Shatner is my god. He looks, and sounds old these days though.

man, I got dragged to help out an event and then dinner so I missed most of the Emmy's! I heard that it was decently lively this year with some new "skits"/performances. I did catch the end though, so I saw Spader win #2 along with LOST getting it's much deserved Emmy!

damn this is the Everybody Loves Raymond lovefest. i hate that show.

I LOVE the show. It's SO real in more way than you could ever think. :p

Raymond = My GF's dad (whiny, has to have his wife do everything for him)
Deborah = My GF's mom (authoritative, takes charge, does all the work, hates her husbands parents)

In another perspective in relation to Robert and Raymond:

Raymond = My GF's brother (gets all the attention, obvious favorite even though mom loves both)
Robert = my GF (gets the shaft, whenever her brother is around, it's all about him)
Marie = My GF's mom (does EVERYTHING for my GF's brother, treats him like royalty)

It's so funny to see how the show closely mirrors their relationships in real life :p
