The 49ers are the most fun team to watch ~

"Garcia racing out of the pocket only to connect on a 35-yard touchdown strike off his back foot to Terrell Owens who wrestles the ball out of the hands on an oncoming corner."

"Hearst gets stopped at the line only to spin out of three linemans' grasps, scampers to the opposite field and bursts his way through defenders into the endzone."

Time and time again, these kinds of plays happen.

For the past 20+ years, the 49ers are undoubtedly the team to watch. Consistently fast-paced, exciting football.

Now they're 8-2, where everyone expected them to be 4-6 at best. Keep up the good work!

p.s. i do miss the old sf vs. dallas rivalry that dominated the early 90's, but it's good to see the niners trying to get back there while the cowboys remain flat, stale, and crappy

I miss that too. I've been a Niner fan since I've been a fan of football. I just like to say that I hate the Vikings. Flame on!

same here! and it is nice to see them winning again. I think the TO/Marriucci thing has been blown way out of proportion. If a team is in locker room turmoil then it shows on the field, this team isn't showing it.

Actually, it's just my stupid Colts' defense that makes them look good. ;)
I agree though, Garcia(former Stampeder from up North here), is an exiting player. Even though up here, he wasn't as well loved as Flutie.

What worries me more (and at the same time exudes san fran's talent) is that a lot of players are not playing at 100%. Garcia, Owens, Hearst, Stokes, Barlow are all banged up.

I'm worried that one of them is going to have a season-ending injury soon because he's playing hurt. That would not be cool.

kudos to garrison hearst on his amazing come-back. 5 ankle surgeries. doctors warning he'll never WALK again. decides to be a 1,000 yard rusher anyway. :p

Bears beat them and also had some exciting games this year. I guess we will see the 49ers in the playoffs!!!

There's nothing more fun to watch than the Steelers D suffocate opposing offenses (though they didn't do too good of a job last game)... ;)

I guess I'm more working class than you guys...For all the time I've lived in the Bay Area, I've always enjoyed the rough-em-up style of the Raiders

Go Raiders! 8-2 and the top rated QB in the league. :)

edit: not to mention having two of the best receivers in Tim Brown and Jerry Rice.

2 five year stretches??

I don't think so. OF course they've had years where they didn't go 17-0, but they rebuilt and put together a good team quicker than anyone else I've heard of.

Even when they're losing games, they're fun to watch.

I will give Oakland some credit this year... but they're only doing so well because they have a bunch of ex-49ers!! HA!! :D

i think you could safely say that about every 49er year. the only team to go undefeated are the dolphins.

Go Raiders! :)
