If anything, I hope the pregnant woman gets to set things right with her daughter. They'd better not leave that hanging.

WTF I really like this, how in the hell is it just a mini series???

Well I look at it this way, V was a mini series too that later turned into a couple year long series that was really good.

one can only hope.

damn I missed the first 12 minutes. I guess I'll just torrent the whole thing instead of turning it on now.

Finale? It's over

it's gonna be over tonight. it's a five part mini-series.

I does seem kinda short. We're just getting used to some of the characters.

You knew there was going to be something odd about the baby. It'll probably end up half-alien like the baby in "V."

The Stand was a mini-series as well. Although, the Stand may be arguably the best mini-series ever.

Oh, and you knew from episode 1 that the guy would hook up with his brother's girlfriend.

Um, the Stand was made from a book that had an ending preset 20 years before the series was made.

The 4400 is a new property.

Its no "The Shield", but its a decent series that should stay on the air.

Yes, but the Stand was a mini-series. Besides, the fact that it wasn't in the book doesn't mean Hollywood can't exand it to whatever they want. Anyone remember the T-Rex rampaging through San Diego in The Lost World novel?

If they really wanted to, the Stand could've been a real series.

Is it just me or is the blonde girl showing? My wife is 4 months and she's barely showing.

Wait...so what happens to the other returnees? What happens to all those open storylines?

The returned brother went to live with the rich dude...what's the deal with the rich guy anyway???

i guess they deliberately open the ending up.

not exactly an excellent ending, though not too bad either.

Not bad? it was fricken terrible.

it was really bad. it left more questions then it answered.

during the show i was thinking how they ripped off the X-men comic book. heh maybe its just because i'm a comic nerd.but it sure seamed to mirror it.

anyway i think the 4400 sucked.

They did have a 5 hour marathon today.

I won't pretend this series is the ultimate in tv writing, but I did enjoy it...even if the ending left a lot to be desired.

My guess, if the ratings come back good, we'll have a series.

lol.
like i said, i don't think it's an excellent series, but it's not too bad and i enjoyed it. maybe the fact that i didn't expect too much of it in the first place helped also.

about the questions in the end, again like i said, i think they intentionally left some things open so they can pick it up later if people seem to like the series. i agree that they can do a lot better with the ending though.

just saw the finale - and I agree with it being intentionally left open for chances of a regular series.

The ending made it seem like the baby will be the real key to it all... borrowing from a lot of movies (John Connor) anyone ? Also reminds you of CONTACT. As a whole, it sure did impress me as far as a USA series goes though.
