I've never seen a room of guys with their sons all turn into the below image before

Checked it out tonight, and there were no tears, but it definitely was a powerful movie. I was fortunate enough to watch almost all of his races, and in my opinion he was the best F1 driver that there has ever been.

Barrichello will be trying out an Indy car.

I am happy as long as he is away from F1.

I have respect for him, but his time has passed.. we need to some new faces. I really hope no one should be in a position where Barichello was during his stint in Ferrari.

very few drivers would refuse the opportunity to be 2nd banana at ferrari, of all teams. if he were faster than his teammate more often he would have been the #1 driver.

The drawing I linked to is supposedly from Ferrari's official 2012 calendar, and it's definitely not the 2011 car.

If you look closely you can see the stepped nose in that drawing. These cars look OK.. when viewed from the back, while front 3/4 view and the side are not.

I see a different nose that's for sure.

Not sure if it's the nose depicted at the F1 site.

We will see. The official unveiling is not far off.

I said the same thing earlier in this thread, but seeing as how Pedro de la Rosa got himself a seat in HRT, I somewhat regret saying it. I rate Barrichello much higher than de la Rosa. I would be happy if Rubens kicks ass in Indycar though.

Anybody following Sutil's trial? It's quite ridiculous how its turning out. Even more so that this might be the end of his F1 career.

I'll bet neither is exactly correct. 😀

Apart from the nose, which might be the same for everybody, I quite like the wings around the cockpit. Reminds me of those winglets on the F2007 and F2008.

Looks like he will be out of F1 this year. I feel bad for him though.. he showed promise during the second half of the season.

Anyway, it is said that the verdict could be reached as soon as tomorrow.

Here is some additional info on that.. http://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/sutil-tried-to-settle-lux-assault-case/

You'd think with the amount of work and sacrifice he did to get into F1 he'd show a little more self-restraint with dbags. Just like how Hamilton is refusing to testify for the trial. LOL

The incident is pretty much what we've been told for months, a guest from Renault spills (part of) her drink on Sutil's pants, he says something to her and she complains about it with Lux. Lux confronts Sutil who says he feels threatened in the crowded club and he slaps Lux with a glass in his hand. Sutil says he pushed, Lux claims he slapped.

Both de la Rosa and Hamilton (sat beside Sutil) deny to have seen anything but there's one witness who has seen the incident who confirms that Sutil slapped Lux with the glass in his hand.

fwiw, they call it pewter not chrome. it's a bit shiny for pewter, but a lot closer than their "rocket red" which is actually orange - not to be confused with vodafone red.

That McLaren looks cleaner than last year's car. The side pods are smoother. The blown wing intake is gone. The packaging around the transmission looks like it has been cleaned up for a smoother flow. No stepped nose. I have hope for McLaren this year.

It's hard to tell whether they backed off on the chrome a bit or not. It looks like the same chrome to me from most angles.

Holy shit! now Sutil is turning against Hamilton by calling him a "coward."

hamilton was supposed to testify on sutil's behalf, but refused. i'd like to know how someone can just refuse to appear in court.

anyway, i've been saying for years how hamilton is a sack of shit. proven right, again.
