Not many surprises here. If you're the guy at college with good grades and yet your classes start at 10:00 am and you never seem to have to study ask yourself why.

What's wrong with classes starting at 10?

Nice. That means my future womens studies degree isn't worthless.

college degrees are pretty much worthless these days

Absolutely incorrect. If you pursue an engineering/science or applied busniess degree you will come out ahead. My wife and I both grew up poor, and now make six figures a few years out of college.

Wrong. They are worth a lot of money. To the universities that collect the tuition of course. Each student is worth 100-200k. When you have a class of 20-30 thousand, you're making hefty profits.

Way to damn early. ;)

Yeesh.
I had 8am classes - though I did try to avoid those like the plague.
Not because I hated being up in the morning, though I absolutely did hate the morning, but I wanted to shower before going to other classes. Physical training and other fun cadet stuff like the military classes were all awesomely early - I needed breakfast and a shower before I could continue on with my day. :)

This is why I will not support my children pursuing a liberal arts degree.

Yeah, my degree is not going to do me a whole lot of favors in the job market. Granted, it's actually the type of work I DO want to get into, but I'm going to need to get more education to have a chance at the big federal jobs that I really want.

International Studies: Security and Intelligence .... (my major specialization/concentration) - a fancy mix of Poli Sci and the soft sciences (behavioral / social sciences)

It's actually a really good degree but there is next to nothing that it immediately applies toward in the job market - later with military experience it could be pretty helpful though - that and a masters or something.

I think the theology degree doesn't take into account the church "2nd" collections :p

None of these are surprising. I don't think I could have done any of those majors even if one was my passion, that money is just depressing.

Sad that education fields are so low... A little education could do this world wonders.

Could it be that schools just pump out a lot of education majors? Maybe it is low because many people want to be educators? And as of right now it appears many places have too many teachers.
