I don't think it's possible to pull this off.

Your dreams of becoming part owner of a hip taqueria are about to come true, and all that’s standing in your way is 30 pounds of burrito. At Don Chingon in Park Slope Brooklyn, chef German Villatoro fills a handmade tortilla about three and a half feet in diameter with chicken, steak, carnitas, chorizo, cheese, rice, beans and salsa. Interested participants may purchase one of these ludicrous things for $150, which seems like a lot, until you consider the prize that awaits you.

If you finish the 30-pound Gran Chingon (huge bada–) burrito in an hour, you become a 10 percent owner of the restaurant. Just for a bit of context, when he set the burrito eating world record back in the spring, human food processor and competitive eating champion Joey Chestnut ate about 14 pounds of burritos, so you’ll have your work cut out for you. Oh, and you also have to drink a ghost pepper margarita.

The restaurant makes it very clear that, while they certainly hope some trencherman out there pulls off the feat, they won’t be responsible for any issues that might arise during an attempt, saying in the rules, “Don Chingon will not accept any responsibility for death or illness.”

Entrants Must:

Pay $150 to enter

Eat 30lb burrito made up of Steak, Chicken, Pork, Rice, Beans, Salsa

Drink 1 Margarita made with Ghost Pepper

Take 1 hour or less to finish (Touching the burrito will start the clock)

Any bathroom breaks or discharge of bodily fluids of any kind will result in forfeit

The winner will be entitled to become an owner of the restaurant – 10% ownerships

Don Chingon will not accept any responsibility for death, illness

Ownership of Don Chingon or any prizes won during the competition are non transferable upon death.

I think Matt Stonie might be able to actually do this, I have a feeling he'll be trying. He killed the Rock Cheat Meal & The Micheal Phelps challenge.

This should provide adequate sustenance for the Dr. Who marathon. ;)

Have a big party at burrito place. Take one bite, say you forfeit. Distribute remains to party. $150 party for how many?

What is the maximum poundage put down by a human at all? I can't imagine how 30lb's in an hour is remotely even possible.

there is no way any human can put down 30 pounds of food in 1 hour. these stupid eating challenges are just dumb now. Man Vs. Food used to entertain me but now im just grossed out by it.

I was dubious about the possibility of anyone doing that, but if the picture of the dude holding the burrito is the actual burrito, it actually looks kinda manageable.

Important question: Do you have to drink the ghost pepper margarita before or after you eat the burrito?

I hate food challenges like this... they're physically impossible. I like the ones where the challenge starts off tough, and if somebody beats it then the new challenge is to beat what THAT guy did... and so on. So you at least know it's possible to do it because somebody already did it (once).

that buritto he is holding in the pic is not 30 pounds. Ive been to Jack & Gill here in Denver and seen the 7 pound burrito challenge and at only 7 pounds it was much bigger than the thing that guy is holding. on my daughters 16th bday she wanted to order it so we did, at 12 bucks it was a deal because there was so much left over it fed us for 3 days.

random pic off the net to show how big a 7 pound burrito is.

On Man vs Food I think the 6lb mark was the magic number for him. Anything above that was impossible.

14lbs by Joey Chestnut is insane. This challenge is impossible. I wonder if Andre the Giant could have done it.
