Looks like "TURN" might not last. I am a History buff so shows like this appeal to me more. Oh well, so be it.
I saw some episodes yesterday of The 100 and although its not bad I would not loose any sleep if they did cancel the show. Nothing really grips me to this show. Maybe its the genre of post apocalyptic movies that already has me bored I guess
I saw the second episode of "Penny Dreadful" on showtime and so far this show has me gripped and excited to find out what happens next. Different strokes for different folks I guess.
Looks like The 100 was renewed and series like Star Crossed were axed.
I test between 122-145 IQ (brag ) and I was still able to watch without falling asleep or wanting to gouge my eyes out. There was plenty to nitpick/bitch about but I actually spent the time to watch all 9 current episodes. I guess that means it's O.K. or at least not terrible.

I want less teen drama and more space action but then again with a lot of the CW shows this is what you get.
It's still something to watch that's kinda ok as a lot of the other shows are done for the season and other ones are a bit of a ways to start again.
I was happy to see a preview for the flash finally as "The Arrow" is one of the other CW shows I do watch and is one I will stick around with so hopefully they can do as well with that.
Seen it (three shows)and bored already. Flash backs! Teen anxiety! Blond teen anxiety! Deep dark sub plot mystery! Did some writhers have a wet dream and try to turn that last Will Smith movie into a prime time show?
edit: AFTER EARTH, 2013 movie, Had to look up this bomb. 100 is a 95% rip off. LOLx2
I was sucked into watching this show by my SO, who wanted to watch it. I can find plenty to nit pick about it, mostly from a science perspective (or a lack thereof), which kind of distracts me from all the teenaged beefcake CW thinks they need to get the much coveted teenaged and young adult demographics for decent ratings. I'm sure their ratings would shoot through the roof if they just changed the title to "The 100 Diaries" and had Justin Bieber and crew staring on it, because teenaged girls can relate to that so much better.
That being said, why can't they just salvage the space station to make enough crude transports to get everyone on it back down to Earth? All you need is shielded containers that float with parachutes attached and carefully position the station to drop them into lakes or oceans. But that would be way too easy and make way too much sense, I guess.

I finished watching the season last weekend. It was OK, I didn't like what they showed in the very end, kinda turned the show in a totally different direction for season 2 (if there is one) Might as well end the series there.
Just watched entire season over the weekend. Decent enough show, little heavy on the teen angst drama stuff.
Assuming this occurs at some point way in the future, as the number of people and supplies to keep them going are exponentially greater than anything close to what is currently deployed in orbit today.
My main complaint would be that so many of the plot points could be seen a mile away. Initial landing becoming a chapter from lord of the flies. Mountain men being the surviving contingent from the base they were attempting to locate. Having a rolling series of advancement in their position and then a setback in another.
At this point I'm fully expecting the two main kids outside the ship to still be very much alive and my surprise at the remaining member stuck in space either being able to live vastly longer or mae it to earth would also not be unexpected.
Read the wiki reference though and says it's based on a young adult book, so maybe they are following some things literally and easier to pick out that way.
