Within 10 mins of meeting a girl, let it be a bar, work, group of people... whatever, she will somehow mention her BF if she has one.

Not true. This only applies if she's made her conclusion as to whether or not you're worth her interest. If she see's you as worthwhile, the BF won't come up.
