Just a word of advice -- if you're too young to vote then perhaps you shouldn't get into the mindset of &quot;settling&quot; on one party or the other. Doing so will only make you close-minded with a one-track mind the rest of your life possibly.

After leaning towards the conservative ideology, I've still decided that I'm politically independent. You don't have to be a part of one of the teams. Party affiliations seem necessary, but in my opinion they cause a lot of harm.

No, I'm not saying that because Gore is a moron that I've been perminantly converted to 'the dark side', but as it seems now, most of the democrats (politicians, not ordinary people) are full of $#it and useless. Plus, I agree with most conservative ideals and beliefs.
