Thats it, im starting a "2008 Camaro savings accout"

Nice video, except the part when the camera decided to clap or something, and the camera was shaking like crazy.

yay... it revved up a lot and did nothing lmao
boo that car, boo that car!!!!

meh, i want to start saving up for the Dodge Challenger, if/when they want to release it.

Wheels seem too big for the car. Just doesn't look right.

Oh, and will you still want to buy it if gas hits 5 dollars a gallon in 1.5 years?

Mark

while it isnt super pretty, its still 1000x better than the old camaro, i really really dont like the old body style.

I hope you are saving for gas and insurance too since even on my crappy honda the gas+ins cost as much as the payment.

Must have lots of speeding tickets/crashes on your record if insurance is that much, or you drive your car full throttle a lot.

concepts always have wheels that usually dont make it to production...nothing different here.

no, just gas/ins in LA/CA prob more expensive than elsewhere. One tank a week and ~$100/month ins.

When i bought this car 3 years ago, gas was ~$2 a gal, now it is consistenly almost $3.50. As much as I would like to buy a performance car, I'd rather not to be stuck with a $500 car payment and $4/gal gas in another year or two.

insurance for me on a 968 is 1400 a year.
im thinkint this would only be about 1800-2k a year.
and gas is still decent, hell i dont care about gas, thats just an expense. i can do it.

better looking than the most recent model, which I thought looked like crap, IMO. at least, stock they did. black with different body kits looked better, but i thought the stock body was quite craptastic. the new model at least mixes new and old, with a flashy body thats boxy.

God no, it's absolute crap compared to the last model Camaro.
It looks like like a Cadillac XLR, or whatever that car is.

I like the looks, but I think with some small changes it would look a lot better too. Definitely need to get rid of that little nostril, that looks just stupid.

As for the sound. Meh, it sounds like half the other V8s out there (not necessarily a bad thing, as it sounds pretty mean). I just wish it would have a slightly different sound.

I want to make an exhaust synthesizer where you could actually tune the sound of your exhaust. I want a car that sounds like a mountain lion, at low speeds its got a low, rumbling growl, but then when you hit redline it just lets out a hair-raising howl.

The car makes me think of Batman Begins... and I do not know why.

I'm saving for it too.

And who ever said "the way of the GTO" doesn't know his facts. The car was a three year run. Everyone knew that. What wasn't known was that it was going to come back again sometime after the Camaro.
