I don't know if ya'll remember me bitching about my school's housing policy. Well, turns out that since I can't guarantee that I'll be able to live with my roommates spring of next year (since I'll be interning in DC for the fall), they all abandoned me. Now they all have places to live, and I'm just going to get stuck somewhere on this God-forsaken campus.

So happy Senior year to me. DC better be worth it. Maybe I'll get it on with a Senator just to have it pay off.

Does the name "Chondra Levy" ring a bell?

Sorry to hear of your predicament. Hopefully, you get boarded w/another person who shares your level of personal hygeine and sleep cycles. Those two things are usually the "killers" in a roomie situation. good luck.
 
It's not all that bad. Her senior year, my wife (then fiancee) was in France for a semester, so she could not secure a room with her friend and got put in the general lottery.

As luck would have it, she was put in a room (4 bedroom apartment style) with 3 very nice young ladies who just happend to be cheerleaders. 😀 I was over a many time while they were getting ready for baskeball games, etc (I was usually collecting my fiancee for the same game).

You'll get over it. I know I did. 😉
 
Well, you can always commute your last semester...you don't live that far away, right? Anything's better than being stuck in the freshman dorms your last semester of college...

DC should be a lot of fun. Plenty of museums and stuff if you are into that, or clubs if you prefer that type of setting.

So dont worry about that. Sorry to hear about the other problem though, hope that works out. The whole senator thing wouldnt help you out much. You should go for someone important. 😉

That happened to me my last year, I ended up snagging an efficiency apartment that became the place to be as all my friends would come over to get away from their roomates.
