I've posted in the past about the ridiculous stories that CNN sometimes posts. By ridiculous I mean totally useless and pointless. One such example was they had a story basically headlined as "Inspectors having a tough time in Iraq" and then literally the same day - using no new information - another article along the lines of "Things going smoothly in Iraq." I can't find the link, but it was silly.

And now their headlining story is US Willing to wait on Iraq and do you know what the story is about?
Colin Powell sent strong signals Saturday that the United States would wait until after U.N. arms inspectors in Iraq submitted their report to the U.N. Security Council on Monday before making any decision on whether or not to lead a military coalition against Saddam Hussein.
NO SH*T, SHERLOCK? Geeze, Bush is really going to wait a whopping TWO FULL MORE DAYS! I was SOOO sure he'd decide to attack Iraq either today or tomorrow with a big UN inspection date looming (27th). I can't help but think that CNN thinks half their readers are idiots.

Well foxnews will now be my first stop. CNN is definitely TEH SUX.

I also switched to Fox News... At least with Fox News, you get programming for an hour before everything is repetitive. CNN seems to have the same crap every 5 minutes..

However, I wish Fox would have a neater ticker system - CNN's is better.

CNN's website is stupid, though. I use msnbc.com or yahoo news..

That was my exact first thought when I read that article earlier.

We have to wait until all the volunteer human shields get to Baghdad first. We wouldn't want to deprive them of a front row seat to the fireworks.

Bush is willing to wait until we have complete and total cooperation from Iraq or until the military is completely inplace, whichever comes first. Mid feb is the latest.

Bush will not be backing down as it would mean a victory for Iraq and he will not be waiting much longer as the market is not liking the uncertainty of war.

Oh yes it will be soon but it doesn't take a great mind to realize that if Bush over the weekend decided to start a war, not waiting for Jan 27, he'd be seen very unfavorably. It's two days. CNN is trying to make it sound like Bush is literally on a leash frothing at the mouth to get to a phone to give it the goahead.

He will at least wait till the 28th to give the state of union address. Maybe he will make it back to the whitehouse before it starts?

Are you sure you don't want to stay? Rudi Baktiar just dyed her hair reddish and it looks fabulous.

are you sure they're not just reposting AP stories because that sounds like something the AP would do.

Didn't Cnn's main media man get canned recently or forced out because FoxNews passed them in ratings? Personally both = the suck.

I never watch them, and I won't read their crummy site, but I do so for ideological reasons. They are too far left for me.

I try to get news from as many American sites as possible. CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, Yahoo, Google, etc.

Yup, same here.

I don't mind hearing what other side has to say.
