The closet was there, shes just re-doing it, part of the structure was rotting out so it needed the work. But it started as just a little project, now the bathroom is painted, she wants new shelving in the closet, and shes talking about moving the sink/vanity in there to free up some room, as you can see its a small bathroom. Argh.

We have been at it for almost 6 months on the upstairs, 3 years on the entire house.

Count yourself lucky that it is only your bathroom. Mine started cause I wanted 1 wall between 2 rooms removed.

Yeah sorry but renovations are overrated. Where I live, you can get a new house built for less than buying an old one, without having to do the work yourself. Only headaches is with contractors, but (knock on wood), the process has been pretty easy so far.

We paid for the house .. in cash... the day we bought it. I do not have a mortgage, and dont owe anyone anything as far as this house is concerned. I like it that way. So, no borrowing.

The credit cards will take between a year and 18 months to pay off. Less if I get a part time second job. I still pay veggiefrog's tuition, rent, and all other expenses, to that is what makes it take so long.

Our relationship.. haha! we adore each other, even when we HATE each other, so once the house is done, we are going away for a week to make it all right!

Your job is a weekend job. Just dont let it get out of hand, like we did.
