Looking back since I moved to Texas (past 4 years) I have upgraded, built, bought, and setup components 3 major times!!!!! NO MORE!!!! I am putting a permanent hiatus on my habit!!!! 1GHz is the highest I will go!

I will not listen to such gibberish that is out there anymore! I had enough of the small things. "Wake me up when we have virtual reality" deal here. I will be happy with my box of Athlon.

So I am no longer stopping by AnandTech's main site. (well maybe a peak...) no... Must stop!

Of course, that does not mean I will not stop in ATOT though.

But do any of you feel the same way?

I could use all the power I can lay my hands on 🙂 50GHz would be nice for my 3D modelling hobby. Not too many things can make an 840MHz Duron system seem slow, but sometimes trueSpace 4.3 makes me want to tear my hair out!

"50GHz "

Arrrrrrgh! The way AMD and Intel are going, we can expect that in 2 years!!!! :Q 😉

(well not really but it sure seems that way)

So I am kicking the can, throwing in the towel. This AMD system better live up to it's name (which by reviews it will 🙂) and not upgrading for a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time.

And mechBgon, yeah. I know some people will need all the processor power they can get. I just wish marketing will not make it appealing to us people here. :|
