i honestly wasnt trying to insult him. my apologies to linuxator if he is offended.

point is, problem isnt "her playing mind games, etc.". he lacks confidence, cant close the deal, and cant handle rejection. sitting and moping and crying on atot isnt going to do anything productive either.

weve all loved and lost. the difference is how you handle it. how you handle it is an obvious hint as to why they didnt want you in the first place. the sooner he realizes that the better.

While i know that some harshness is needed (And im not saying, im being proactive in my thread, because to tell the truth, i should suck up any fear of the future i have and do something; but i haven't, i wish i could!) people dont come here to be harassed even more. Criticize them, poke some fun, but at least make an honest attempt to improve their situation. Whether it be "Cmon, get a grip and move on", or "[Some random advice to make the situation better]".

Im in the same situation as u (happened about half a year ago).
Only thing that will work is TIME.
gotta just let time go by and it will get so much easier.
Also- go hit the gym and get in the best shape of your life- get some new hobbies, just try and feel good about yourself and keep yourself busy.
