I don't get how he says he's a transsexual. Transsexual = both male/female organ parts right? It seems to me he's just trans gendered--male but thinks he's a woman. Which begs the question if he thinks he's a woman why is he so into sports

Good for him/her. What I'm most curious to see are the interviews when he returns as she. The athletes will obviously know, and I wonder how the reporter will now be treated. It's obviously a big step and he has no intention of dropping his career, so I hope it works out.
