I'm coming back to work on a Three lane freeway, (speed limit 60 I think) and traffic seems to be backed up a little. Not major, but probably 30 or 40 cars and a few trucks. As I exit and start up the exit ramp, I can see the front of the line. A bright red Mustang convertable, top down, what looked like a younger guy and a blond. He is in right lane beside a truck going the exact same speed. The entire free way is empty for probably a quarter mile in front of them! So I can't help wondering "does 'moron' realize he is backing up traffic and just does not care, or is he even too dense to realize (or look in rear view mirror)?

It's times like this that I am lucky I am not a cop. I would have to pull him over, walk up, stare at him for a minute, then just say "Sir, I felt I should pull you over, to inform you that you are a complete moron, and unless it becomes vitally important, you probably should try not to reproduce. Be careful and have a nice day." 'Course depending on what the rest of the blond looked like, might have to throw in "hey babe, lose the dork and let's party".....okay, maybe not

I've said this before and I'll say it again..

I have come to the conclusion that *I* am the only person who knows how to drive anymore..

People are just idiots.. they are oblivious to what is going on around them and how they affect everyone else..

I really think people have become more and more selfish..

If I was a cop and pulled him over, I'd HAVE to find a reason to give him ticket... broken tail light perhaps (how'd that happen?), or wreckless driving (there's one you'll NEVER beat in court because it's the cops word against yours)

Move to another country. Americans don't know how to drive. Go to germany or something. Driving there is like a dream come true. NO STUPID DRIVERS!!

Some states are starting to pass laws against that type of stupid driving. It would fall under "Insightment of Road Rage" or "Aggressive Measures". I'm dead serious and I think it's a good idea. Other things under this are merging without a signal, cutting in and out of lanes playing the "one car closer" game, excessive changes in speed, and even horn honking and rude gestures. You can get fined up to $500 for flipping someone off. Isn't that a first ammendment issue?

Haha, Nater have you driven in St. Cloud much? Those are some of the worst drivers I've seen in my life! A light can turn red around here and you'll usually see at least 3 cars drive right through.

I don't know if I am just noticing it lately or if it has been a perpetual problem, but people running red lights has become quite common. I live in Atlanta, and it happens EVERY day. Three or four people just make their way through the light, as if it is their right.

Nater21, the only reason that Germans are good drivers is cause they follow rules like their lives depended on it.
