That diamond Cartier Panthère ring Paris Hilton wore last night is worth $250k! Many celebrities only get/wear the gold version but not Paris. She was shopping in Monaco while on vacation, wanted it, bought it. Nice to have that kind of dough.^_^

The ring is fashioned and named after Louis Cartier’s creative partner, Jeanne Toussaint (head of fine jewellery), whose nickname was “La panthère”. The panther was her favourite feline and this animal and its spots are said tohave been the emblem for Cartier since about 1914.
