Last night the girlfriend and I go to bed rather early for us (10:30-11pm), as we were both exhausted and had to start the packing process at our apartment today. We get woken up between 3-4am by a large group of people outside the apartment immediately next to us. We chalked it up to just a bunch of drunken idiots having a large Memorial Day weekend party, and tried to ignore them.
At about 4:15ish, we hear that they are starting to fight. We saw them throw some pretty good punches as well. I call the police (who were already en route) and start getting ready to go help them out in case they needed an extra hand. Police show up seconds after I called them. Most scatter, as that is what usually happens when police arrive, which was the main reason I called them. I talked to one of the officers after things start winding down and he told me that 2 guys apparently came out of the closet at the party and that is what started the whole fight. Tolerant bunch of people, aren't they? The police were also going to arrest 6-8 of them for underage drinking.
Out of all the neighbors in the apartment complex, the only ones I've had problems with are these people. Surprised they haven't been kicked out as they've had the police called on them several times now. Fortunately I am outta here at the end of the month.
