man, that dude is so ugly. what a freak. i wonder if anyone punched his face? i would have been so scared i think i would have punched him silly. why not, he's got a bomb and i don't want to die.

someone said he was british and his name is anglo saxon (robert reid), but he looks dark (don't get all bent out of shape now), and i heard he was from singapore or somewhere like that. his mom is white as a ghost.

why is it when they arrest these people (like that zacharias moussioaouie) they never show their faces again. they repeatedly show the same old photos of them. i guess once they are arrested they can't show their faces, or show them in court. they always show those court room drawings.

anyway, i hope he dies with a c*ck pounding his ass.

They could always give him back his shoes, leave him in a large field with the fuse lit. It would save us the cost of a trial.

<< Punching a suicidal man with explosives and living do not go hand in hand. >>

what? (stone cold impression)

well, everyone else (you did know that he was stopped by the passengers from setting off the bomb -- how do you think they did it?) was busy stopping him from lighting the bomb so that would free me up to beat his ass real good. i'm sorry, but i think a couple of solid punches to the face would distract him from lighting a damn bomb.

btw, was he wearing the shoes? were they carry on? did he take them off to light them? they never tell you this sh*t on tv. i still don't know why it was so hard for him to light the fool thing. maybe he really didn't want to die.

The thing I don't get is: if he had plastic explosives, lighting it wouldn't have set it off. Plastic explosives are only set off by shock. Soldiers in Vietnam used to use C4 like sterno.

I don't care if he was nutcase trying to light up sillypuddy,he crossed the line and decked one stewardess, and bit anothers thumb. He was then accosted by the passengers as he stooped over attempting to light a wire fuse in the tongue of his shoe. while being held down and strapped down(he fought off the passengers with vengence) with belts and ties, 2 doctors gave him mutlple shots of a sedative to calm him. He was a 6'4" 220 lb man. He had more adreniline running through him then anyone else on that plane, because he was sure he was going to die.

By the Grace of God and the resourcefulness of the passengers and crew, a desastor was avoided. Lets give thanks for that.

The explosive was a sophisticated blend that had he succeeded in lighting it, it would have blown off his legs and put a big hole in the fusalage, causing a catastrophic event. He could have brought down the plane. Look for more attempts in the future. He did not work alone. He was not smart enough to have put this plan together on his own.

A story ran on BBC.com that indicated that over 100 of these guys have been trained in this fashion. We have to be lucky every time trying to catch these people. They only need to be lucky once.:(

He was lighting the detonator.

But that's just dumb. A 9 volt electric shock is all it takes to set it off.

Yea, really! All he needed was to jam a battery into the thing and it should set it off! Retard!

Because it was metal and if it broke while in his shoe that would be too good for him.

so the fuse was in the tongue of his shoe? thanks for the details tripelshot. i hadn't heard. i was wondering about that.

i still think i would have just beat on his ass out of fear and anger. i'm sure some were trying to restrain his arms. i would have been punching that mofo in the throat, slapping his ears hard enough to bust the drums, anything to incapacitate the fool.
