That Morning Taste

Does anyone here ever awake everyday with a godawful taste in their mouths? Every day I wake up to this disgusting taste, like millions of bacteria just decided to take sh!ts in my mouth. It's the only reason why I get up and out of bed so quickly after waking up. I would proudly raise a glass of  to the person that figures out a way to get rid of it.

/ random rant.

Only once in a while, really. Maybe if you use toothpaste with baking soda and chewed baking soda gum and became a freak about altering the pH level in your mouth it would change. This is only a guess, though. (My brother had a really nasty bacterial infection in his mouth once, doctor prescriped lots of baking soda)

Where in the world do you live that you need a prescription for baking soda?

to prescribe doesn't necessarily mean write you a note to bring to a pharmacist to get some medicine... i could prescribe a refreshing drink to quench your thirst for example.

Seriously, you wake up with a bad taste in your mouth because you didn't do a good job brushing your teeth the night before. Brush, then use listerine, then go to bed. Not rocket science.

eat plain bread before you sleep. That works wonders for getting rid of taste when I wake up. Toothpaste gives me that awful taste.

I get the taste too, very unpleseant. What's worked for me is apple juice. Drink some when you get up and the taste goes away.

I already know you can't honestly be daft enough to not recognize an expression so I won't honestly answer your question.

Yeah that's what I do. I usually have poweraid next to my bed. I take a sip out of it whenever I wake up. I guess the salts act as some buffer to the taste.

Do you breathe through your mouth at all when you sleep? Is it unusually dry when you wake up?

This is probably the Culprit. I'll notice it when I have plugged sinuses and am forced to breathe through my mouth at night.
