Well my parents bought two new golden retriever puppies in the summer. One of them is -really- well behaved almost scary because he will "reprimand" his brother. When the bad one jumps and bites people, his brother will bite his ankle or his back but never an aggressive type of bite--just something to draw his attention away. The good dog will sit and stare when his brother does bad stuff, almost to say he knows what is wrong and what is right and these are DOGS we're talking about
Anyhow my parents also got some new furniture recently too. Now to some this may seem like nothing but you -don't- understand my parents. They get new furniture every twenty-five years so suffice to say this stuff has to last.
Well I am always left home with the dogs and no one takes care of them. They whine because we keep them in the kitchen with gates but have supervised "play time" for about 4 hours a day (for another 6 months until hopefully they are more settled).
Today they were being the biggest buggers constantly crying and my parents know I have some serious deadlines to meet. They still left me with the dogs. Dogs kept crying and I couldn't get any work done or focus so I let them out.
Now the good dog kept coming to my door in a really odd manner, staring at me like something is wrong. He did it about 3 or 4 times and he has -never- done this before. Looks at me, then looks down the hall towards the living room and runs back and forth. Then I finally clue in like "is the other dog choking, it is really quiet and I don't hear anything!". So I run out to the living room only to find he has royally fscked up the cushion on one of my parents new expensive love seat.
Luckily only one side (up facing) is messed up and I'm just as lucky that the other cushion is a match so I can reverse them and flip one upside down and the other right side up sort of thing.
Safe for now.... just have to call the store tomorrow for a replacement
