It hurts my eyes. I'm not oversensitive but that's the most egregious annoying Internet trick I've ever seen. You guys have to stop that stuff.

Oh, so your solution is to subscribe. That's a close cousin to torture as a persuasion or blackmail, extortion, threats, the power of fear, all that ugly stuff I prefer to live without. I am philosophically against ponying up some money so that I can enjoy Anandtech Forums without annoying banners. How good can something be if you have to pay to have it without annoyances? My original theme persists: The Anandtech folks have to throttle that advertizer. Nobody's going to get MY money with ____ like that!
