That Epox board anand used looked sweet

Mine will be here by Thursday...I will post my experiences. I will also be filling all three DIMM slots with 256mb sticks of unbuffered Crucial. 🙂 Also, it's essentially the same as the original 8KHA, it just uses the new KT266A NB. Any reviews of the 8KHA should be informative for you...🙂

Hi Insane3D,

Yes, please let us know how this goes. I'm curious as to the stability of the board and how the 3 unbuffed dimms work.

I know that you will be taking the stability part to the limit, Mr. 180MHz FSB! Go for it!

"so i'm guessing they fixed the USB issue with the kt266/a and high FSB? "

From my understanding, this has been fixed. I will know for sure when I set it up since I use a USB keyboard, mouse, and printer...🙂

Yeah, I just find it easier to use USB for my peripherals. I always disable the parallel and serial ports as well. I also just threw one of these in the 3.5in bay of my SX840 and it makes it even easier. 🙂

Wish he would do a separate review of the board itself. Will most likely be my next board.

I think he's waiting on a batch of them to come out from different manufacturers so he can do a comparison review...

That would make sense. Thanks
