As per my topic in Computer Help, I was having a weird problem with games not running correctly full screen (artifacting, crashing, slow performance, unable to overclock my vidcard) but fine in a window, and the nVidia driver randomly crashing and restarting.

This then carried over to my hard drives randomly dropping out and requiring a reboot, some network weirdness (haven't been able to connect to a specific IRC server, when other computers on my network can) then the past few days I hadn't been able to run any game, the driver simply restarts and the game CTDs.

On a hunch, I disconnected two drives, and while less flaky, it was still crashing, but this was progress.

Step 2: I connected all my fans to a separate PSU and reordered the drives connections on the main PSU. Surprise, surprise, all of my problems are fixed. I can run games full screen at full speed and even overclock my card to 500/800 (up from 450/660), and I can connect to the IRC server again.

So, what I need to do now is buy a new PSU so I can put my case side back on. Any suggestions for a good PSU around $80-100 that can easily handle the following (with headroom for 2-3 more HDs and an 8800GT):

Intel Core2Duo E6300 @ 2.8
2x1gb Gskill DDR2800
Gigabte P965-S3
Seagate 250 and 120gb SATA3 7200rpm
WD 80 and 320gb SATA3 7200rpm
Geforce 7900GS (500/800)
DVDRW
2x80mm LED fans
4x80mm standard fans

If ya'll need info about anything else, feel free to ask.
Thanks

A Corsair VX450 would be more then able to handle the system. If you want more head room then get the VX550. If you want modular cables then look at there HX520.

Is this the Corsair VX550 you're referring to?

Thats the one. Excelent PSU. I've had mine for about 3 months now. But then i'm not really putting a heavy load on it. But all the reviews are excelent on the unit. All of Corsairs PSUs for that matter.

For 15$ more you get the 520hx at clubit.com, which is modular. Dunno, might be nice to have ... If you look around a little, you might be able to get it cheaper then at newegg.com.

Alternately get an Enhance built 850W Cooler Master from SVC for $55AR.
